ACT Out! Children’s Workshops

One of the missions of ACT II is to promote and educate the public about all the exciting things the Omaha Community Playhouse (OCP) has to offer. Act II is excited to introduce a brand-new event that will be a “friend-raiser,” bringing new families to OCP through an educational program for children.


ACT Out! Children’s Workshops
February 19, 2011, 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m.
Only $15 per child!

ACT Out! Children’s Workshops invites students ages 4-18 to participate in a variety of theatre workshops featuring an array of topics. From basic acting games to improv to stage combat, there is something for youth of all ages!

There are two sessions on February 19, 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Students will participate in three classes tailored to their age group and take a VIP backstage tour of OCP. The classes are broken down into age groups: 4-6, 7-10, 11-13 and high school.
