Thanks to the generosity of the William R. Patrick Foundation and the Douglas County Commissioner’s Visitor Improvement Funds, it’s now easier than ever to for everyone to access the great theatre in OCP’s Howard Drew theatre. A new Garaventa Express II Lift has been installed with the help of Access Elevator & Lifts.
“This was a much needed improvement,” says OCP House Manager Matt Bross (pictured above demonstrating the new lift). “Our old ramp, while it got the job done, was not as convenient or safe for our patrons or staff.” The new lift folds up when not in use, making it easier for everyone to get in and out of the theatre. Another nice bonus is that the keys required to use the lift are standard, so many patrons have keys of their own that they can use.
Come see for yourself how easy it is to enjoy theatre at the Playhouse!
